'Bad Grains 'Dev'd in Perth City'

To celebrate the our building turning 100 we’ve released a VERY limited run of these shirts!

this design is a take on the classic record by Bad Brains. - Bad Brains - Live at the CBGB's 1982 (Full Concert) - Bing video

“Built in 1922, during a time of growth and development of Mount Lawley as a Two-Storey commercial building with an Inter-War Free Classical architectural style with Art Deco decorative elements. The first record of an occupant at 37 Railway Parade was in 1923, when F.J Kellow operated a sulky and pony pacemaker business from the premises”. The building was later a fruit shop, furniture shop, hairdresser and tobacco shop, barber shop, men’s club, and recently we’ve been informed it was also a photographic studio just like us!”

“We chose this building that encaptures decades of history just as film photography does. It was the perfect fit for Silver Halide Studios first commercial space. In the past couple years we have been lucky enough to host various events to showcase local photographers work and bring the community together for event’s and exhibitions, perfect!”

“Here's to many more years of this incredible building and cresting many more memories within it!”
